Dr Peta Skilbeck leads Intuition Private Obstetrics and Gynaecology, offering expert medical care for women on the Central Coast.

As a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RANZCOG) with over 10 years of professional healthcare experience, Dr Skilbeck is particularly interested in ensuring local women have access to superior support and care.

Dr Skilbeck provides advice tailored to individuals needs in a comfortable, private environment. She values personal, face to face care and understands the challenges of being female.

Dr Skilbeck provides obstetric, fertility and gynaecological consulting and surgical services, with a particular interest in pre-pregnancy counselling, low and high risk antenatal care, labour and natural and caesarean births. She supports holistic care and works closely with midwives, dieticians, physiotherapists and lactation consultants.

Dr Skilbeck gained her education locally at St Patrick’s Primary School, St Joseph’s East Gosford and Central Coast Grammar. She obtained her Medical degree from the University of Sydney, studying at Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) while residing at the Women’s College.

Dr Skilbeck trained at The John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, Gosford District Hospital, Maitland, Taree and Belmont Hospitals. She is also accredited with Genea Newcastle.

Dr Skilbeck has an extensive knowledge of local medical services as well as a network of colleagues and allied health professionals in Australia and overseas with whom she is in regular contact.
